What you get

  • Ratio9 VST3 and AU plug-ins for Mac: $79.99 USD, one-time. Applicable tax is calculated at checkout.
  • All future Ratio9 software updates, including major versions.
  • Use on up to two Macs at the same time.
  • The Standalone app is always free.

Before you buy

  • Ratio9 1.2.1 is an alpha release.
  • You need a Mac with Apple silicon (M1 or newer) running macOS 12 or newer. There is no Intel Mac or Windows release.
  • Use a compatible DAW. The plug-ins follow your DAW’s tempo.
  • We can’t guarantee compatibility with every DAW or Mac setup. Try the free Standalone app on your Mac before buying.
  • AI features are optional and not needed to play. They need a compatible MCP client that supports local stdio servers. Any account or subscription that your AI client requires is separate. Claude Code has been used with Ratio9; not every client has been tested. Offline plug-in activation doesn’t make AI features work offline.

Buy and activate

  1. Sign in at ratio9synth.com, or create an account.
  2. While signed in, buy at ratio9synth.com/account/buy. Checkout is linked to your account.
  3. Download and run the installer from ratio9synth.com/download. The same installer covers the free Standalone app and the plug-ins.
  4. Open Ratio9 in your DAW and copy the device code shown in the plug-in.
  5. On the Activate page in your account, enter that device code and download the device activation file.
  6. Import the file in the Ratio9 plug-in.

Activation is per Mac and works offline. If a Mac already has a valid activation, use the plug-in’s Refresh activation control rather than activating it again.

Plug-in not showing up?

Quit and reopen your DAW after installing, or run its plug-in rescan.
